Acerca de Elena
Nacida en 1977 y criada en un pueblo al sur de Andalucía, Coín. De familia honesta y con raíces, que además, supo abrirme el hueco para permitirme mi mirada particular del mundo y de las cosas.
Esa visión necesita una salida, que a lo largo de los años se ha ido concretando en muy diferentes proyectos. Pintura, diseño, cerámica, instalaciones. Del más clásico realismo a la abstracción. Todo mi verdad.
La necesidad de ser uno en el mundo no entiende de normas fijas sino más bien de adaptarse, construirse, atreverse.
No sé si entiendo el mundo creando o creando me entiendo, pero he constatado que para mí es, y creo que para todos, una necesidad.

Born in 1977 and raised in a town in the south of Andalusia, Coín. Into an honest family with deep roots, one that also knew how to make room for me, to allow my own particular way of seeing the world and its things.
That vision needs an outlet, one that over the years has taken shape in very different projects. Painting, design, ceramics, installations. From the most classical realism to abstraction. All of it, my truth. The need to be oneself in the world has little to do with fixed rules, and more to do with adapting, building yourself, daring.
